Dennis Scott (Senior Advisor, Melbourne)

Dennis is an experienced senior executive and strategic advisor. He provides our clients with sound advice in relation to their business and project interests across many sectors. At SBG Advisory, he also provides our team with guidance in relation to our client appointments.

Dennis has in excess of 35 years of senior corporate advisory and investment banking experience with ANZ Banking Group Limited, Bain & Company, Deutsche Bank AG and boutique investment advisory firm Bain Structured Finance Pty Ltd. He has led transaction teams, capital raisings and developed corporate recovery plans for large corporations and small to medium enterprises up to AUD20Mil. He specialises in project strategy and risk, business development and formation of capital for client investment programs, including sourcing funding from tier 1 banking institutions.

At SBG Advisory, he provides clients with targeted structured financial solutions for a range of business, property and equipment infrastructure needs. Dennis has engineered structured finance for major projects and infrastructure plans, working with clients to secure the best possible offer from financial institutions. He is experienced in establishing a healthy balance of equity and debt that fits with the capacity of businesses to meet their financial commitments. He is expert in evaluating risk and developing realistic strategies to facilitate infrastructure development and / or business growth plans.

Dennis is a member of the Advisory Board for Natures Organics, is Associate of the Australian Institute of Bankers, is CAFBA accredited and holds a Diploma of Finance and Mortgage Broking Management.
