Barry Sweeney (Managing Partner & Founder, Australia)
Barry’s professional experience includes senior executive roles in several ASX listed companies, appointments within Government agencies and extensive consulting to private and public sector.
He works client side undertaking business analysis, market research, business case development, financial and economic modelling and infrastructure project management.
Barry has a successful track record undertaking business case development, project management and program development for private sector and government clients valued up to AUD4.4Bil. His project experience includes Australia’s prestigious arts / cultural institutions, education infrastructure, roads and transport, important CBD property transactions, commercial, residential and community development projects, and process engineering industrial projects.
Barry has held several infrastructure-related senior government appointments. He has successfully completed business cases for NSW Telco and several major projects in Victoria. Sectors include roads and transport, education, the arts, health and hospitals, national agency and border security, energy, community services, Justice, infrastructure and technology.

As a business analyst, Barry has an extensive track record providing corporate advisory services and has planned and implemented successful business reconstructions and development programs. He provides bespoke advice to privately owned SMEs and mentors founders with the objective of aligning capital requirements with operational needs. Sectors include payments software, biomedical, food retail, transport and logistics, construction, viticulture / agri-business, manufacturing, FMCG, food production, and SaaS digital technology sectors. He has originated and led transactions, including acquisitions, management buyouts, divestments, growth strategies and capital raisings.
He holds a Masters of Business Administration (Finance) with distinctions in corporate finance and marketing and a Bachelor of Environments, Property and Construction.
