SBG Advisory acted as strategic corporate advisor to this FMCG food manufacturer and retail distribution company. Initially appointed to undertake a forensic review of this business selling product into the highly sought after snack food category in major supermarkets throughout Australia. Successful recovery and growth strategy involving brand development, product reconfiguration and price pointing, introduction of financial controls and timely management reporting, and strengthening of market position leading to improved sales. Our work included negotiations of supply contracts into Coles and Woolworths supermarkets throughout Australia, IGA, Foodworks and other independent supermarkets, and route trade, and development of divestment plan.
