Agribusiness & viticulture

Australia is witnessing a resurgence in the viability and importance of agribusiness that is derived from increasing demand from countries in the Asian region for our fresh food products.

Located in Red Hill South (Mornington Peninsula), we bring 25 years of experience in the Australian viticulture and hospitality sectors assisting clients and owners with their asset management plans. Providing business analysis and strategy services, financial modelling (operating and capital expenditure) and with many years of successful project management experience, our work includes project feasibility studies for establishment and operation of vineyards, developing operating financial models for wineries and bottling plants, capital programs for development of property and facilities (leasehold and freehold options).

Since 2000 we have a track record of assisting many boutique wine brands located on the Mornington Peninsula and others from recognised wine producing regions elsewhere in Australia to develop export market opportunities into the UK, EU, China, Korea and Hong Kong, including working with wine makers to tailor wines for target markets. Working closely alongside vineyard owners, managers and wine makers, and with a successful track record of experience in food and beverage, entertainment and hospitality (bars, cafes, restaurants, catering and functions venues), we bring a holistic approach to the viticulture and hospitality sector. Mornington Peninsula growth forecasts for retail, tourism and hospitality have been developed through our demographic studies and data analysis that have been undertaken since 2004.

We ensure capital investment plans are in alignment with operational growth strategies. We work with clients from conception through to completion. With operational business management experience in food manufacture, food retail and distribution and transport, value chains are readily understood and optimised.

Our agribusiness advisory experience includes business reconstruction and development strategies in a number of agri-sectors including:

  • viticulture (vineyard and wine production operating and financial modelling, product / distribution strategies, and aligned F&B offerings);
  • development of export markets involving greasy wool export;
  • food and wine export;
  • indoor vertical horticulture; and
  • rural produce and merchandise, hardware and agribusiness services.

We focus upon developing optimal operating platforms informed by robust financial modelling with appropriate levels of capital investment in infrastructure.
