SBG Advisory was appointed to undertake an important review of corporate governance following the creation of this entity to replace the former Stolen Generations organisation. The review entailed establishing a governance framework in the context of the Victorian Aboriginal (Indigenous) Affairs Framework, process for appointment of initial Directors, ethical standards, financial model, strategic plan, and corporate risk profile.

We advised management and Board regarding expectations of The Stolen Generations communities and establishment of consultative committee regarding service delivery throughout Victoria and examined the Corporations Act pertinent to this social enterprise with appropriate corporate structure defined.

This organisation continues to operate successfully having adopted the Governance framework devised and recommended by SBG Advisory.
